The learning objectives of this course are as follows and our content is planned accordingly.

• How is the current medical literature composed?
• What are the current medical databases (PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, Dimensions.ai etc.)? How is the scope of these databases relative to each other?
• How to create a research question, topic, hypothesis? 
• How to write a research question according to the PICO formulation?
• How are the keywords to be used in search determined?
• How to do a comprehensive “systematic literature review” with keywords? How to prepare a hedge? How to scan which different medical databases.
• How to use reference programs, especially Zotero, in order to effectively classify the existing articles obtained as a result of the search?

Our systematic literature review course is aimed at assistants and experts from all branches, young academics in health sciences and medical students who have started to take part in research processes and need to learn how to conduct a comprehensive literature review.

How will the training be implemented?

• The lessons are given interactively via ZOOM, with 3 instructors to ask questions at any time.
• There are question and answer sessions at the end of each lesson and at the end of the day.
• For the practices, examples were prepared in which the trainees could solve themselves and practice in front of the team, which would then be solved together with the trainer.
