In this course, you will learn how to prepare a research question in PICO format, how to systematically search for literature in indexes such as PubMed, Scopus, WOS with PICO question, how to manage references with Zotero software, and gain skills that will be very useful at the beginning of your academic life.

Our trainees who complete our course will acquire the following knowledge and skills:

How will the training be implemented?

ONLINE: You can start watching the course as soon as you purchase it.

WEBINAR+: Lectures are given with 3 instructors in an interactive way through ZOOM, with the ability to ask questions at any time. There are Q&A sessions at the end of each lesson and at the end of the day. For the practicals, examples have been prepared for the trainees to solve themselves, practice in front of the team, and then solve together with the trainer.

What technical equipment do I need for the course?

Zotero: Downloading and installing the free ZOTERO program on your computer is required for the reference manager course. https://www.zotero.org/

WEBINAR+: You need a Windows or Mac computer and a good internet connection to use it during the course. You must install the latest version of the ZOOM software on your computer. You should also check your Camera and Sound settings and make sure you can share the screen.

No special training is required before the course.

Which materials will you provide with the course?

At the end of the course, you will be able to access the training videos and PDFs containing the lessons’ slides for three months through the system.

Will the course be video recorded? Will I be able to watch it afterwards?

The system includes edited videos of previous sessions. During the course, we record to improve our quality, check our mistakes and shortcomings, make new arrangements according to the questions we receive, and improve our content. However, we do not share these recordings with you because they contain the trainees’ voices and images. We use lecture recordings that have been previously recorded in the system and cleaned of personal images.
