The learning objectives of this course are as follows and our content is planned accordingly.

• Our trainees who complete the course will learn the basic logic and importance of calculating the sample size,
• Calculate the sample size in frequently performed studies such as two-group comparisons, diagnostic valence, descriptive studies,
• They will be able to write the relevant text in ethical applications and publications.

Our sample size calculation course is for assistants and specialists from all branches, young academics in health sciences and medical students who have started to take part in research processes, who want to calculate the sample size of the study they are planning, or who need to learn how to calculate the power of their completed work.

How will the training be implemented?

• The lessons are given interactively via ZOOM, with 3 instructors to ask questions at any time.
• There are question and answer sessions at the end of each lesson and at the end of the day.
• For the practices, examples were prepared in which the trainees could solve themselves and practice in front of the team, which would then be solved together with the trainer.

• You need a Windows or Mac computer and a good internet connection to use it during the course. 
• You must install the latest version of the ZOOM program on this computer. 
• You should also check your Camera and Sound settings and make sure you can share screens.
• GPower: Downloading and installing the free GPower program on your computer for this course will help you in practice.
